BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Please help us keep YOUR Parkersburg Art Center running like a well-oiled machine. We need volunteers in many areas! If you are willing to help at the Art Center from time to time, please send a note of interest to info@parkersburgartcenter.org, stop by or give us a call at (304) 485-3859.
Are you willing to: answer phones, take messages, use the copier, greet visitors, stamp and address mailings, clean, help prepare or serve at receptions, work in the gift shop, type, assist with a class, do minor repairs such as painting, plumbing, dry-wall, carpentry, carpeting, electrical.... WE NEED YOU TO BE A VOLUNTEER!
Docents
Interested in becoming a docent and being trained to lead Art Center tours? As a docent you will lead tours for organizations and school groups. Email Jessie today at info@parkersburgartcenter.org to find out more information on how you can volunteer to be part of this great group.
Hospitality
Join us and volunteer as a receptionist at the front desk. If you have a friendly hospitable disposition we would love to have you greet our guests as they come through the door. We can always use help with special events such as Purse Bingo, Fundraisers, Art Openings and more! Contact us if you want to donate your time in our creative atmosphere.
